For our fifth project we received the help of two friends from Germany Mads & Luka. They had plans to travel to central America in order to avoid the hard german winter & they were motivated to help us in our mission.
This was the first time we had the chance to send parts with the help of travellers, but from this point on would become the best method we had to keep on sharing Bmx happiness.
Mads & Lukas arrived in early December, they gave all the Bmx parts to Alvaro Chavarria, friend & founder of ”Street Culture Magazine”, he organized with the collaboration of the project ”Origen Urbano”, a Bmx jam at local skatepark where the parts were given away.
The jam was a success, in Alvaro’s words: ”The biggest & funniest jam we have ever had in Costa Rica”
